The musician Miguel Assis, was born in July 28th of 1979, son of the multi-instrumentist Francisco de Assis, named as “Popolla”,
whom used to work, at that time, with Dominguinhos, Benito de Paula, among others.
Assis grew up in a musical environment and since
he was 14 years old, already used to play in Musical Festivals of Brazilian Popular Music. At the year 2001, Assis studied at Tatuí Music Conservatory at Tatuí city, in São Paulo. At 2005 studied at ULM - Universidade Livre de Música
Tom Jobim at São Paulo. Since then, Miguel have being performing himself in shows, recordings, Workshops with great artists from the world music, such as : Sizão Machado, Celso Pixinga, Mouzzart Mello, Arismar do Espirito Santo, Tiago do Espirito
Santo, Abel Cardoso, Vinicius Chagas, Cris Nunes, Vinicius Gomes, Kiko Loureiro, Gabriel Grossi, Sanfoneiro Bebê, Serginho Carvalho, Adauto Dias, Carrapicho, Chris Galante, Marcelo Johnson, Bocato, Michel Leme, Wagner Barbosa, David Rangel, Guilherme
Ribeiro, Davi Sartori, Rogério Botter Maio, Alex Correa, Vinicius Dorin, Fábio Leal, Leandro Matsumoto, Israel Lúcio, Michel Lima, André Freitas, Robertinho Carvalho, the singer Mafalda Minnozzi, the singer Lino Criz from Racionais

At the year 2010, he played and recorded with many Gospel singers, such as: David Fantazzini,
the renowned Baby do Brasil with Abrahan Laboriel on the Bass, among others. In 2011, Assis did a tour with in Europe with his sister and Singer Luana Assis.
In 2012, Assis recorded two Albums with the acoustic guitar and singer Gabriel Sater, and then made a tour all over the Country. At that same year, he also recorded the Album ‘Plural’ and made many shows with the renowned musician
Olmir Stokers, named “Alemão”.
Assis also have played and have recorded with O Teatro Magico Group, from 2013
In 2014 Miguel recorded two great instrumental Albums, first with the Pianist Erick Escobar and the second one with the
Pianist Moisés Alves, with special participation from the musicians: Fernando Rosa (Bass), the International Guitar Chico Pinheiro and Paulo Malheiros (trombone)
In 2016 he had recorded his first Album: Estrada do Som, with special guests such as: Adauto Dias (Guitar), Thiago do Espirito Santo (Bass), Salomão Soares (Accordion), and the singer Andrea dos Guimarães.
